Expand Curve Finance founder Michael Egorov proposed a new proposal called Yield Basis on the Curve DAO governance forum. The proposal calls for issuing 60 million crvUSD stablecoins to establish three Bitcoin-centric liquidity pools (WBTC, cbBTC, and tBTC, each capped at $10 million). The proposal would distribute 35% to 65% of the proceeds to veCRV holders, with another 25% of Yield Basis tokens reserved for the Curve ecosystem. (CoinDesk)

Expand On September 15, 2025, Polkadot's Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) passed Referendum 1710 with 81% approval, capping the total supply of DOT at 2.1 billion. Currently, there are 1.6 billion DOTs in circulation, following an uncapped supply of 120 million new DOTs issued annually. The new plan stipulates that DOT issuance will be reduced every two years on Pi Day (March 14). Based on this model, the DOT supply in 2040 is projected to be approximately 1.91 billion, compared to approximately 3.4 billion under the current issuance model.
