Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the ability to "think outside the box."
When I was a child, I often had whimsical ideas. For example, when I was in elementary school, I watched magic videos on Youku and wondered if everyone could make videos and courses and earn money from them. Once, during a typhoon, I rode in a tricycle and, reflecting on the mediocre experience of taxis, wondered if companies would one day offer taxi services using BMWs and Mercedes-Benzes to cater to the wealthy. Seeing the post "Jia Junpeng, your mom is calling you home for dinner," I realized how popular it was, yet the poster couldn't seem to capitalize on its popularity.
These were all very immature ideas, but sometimes innovation arises from these kinds of whimsical thoughts. Now, however, my thinking seems increasingly rigid. I no longer consider whether things I see and experience could exist in other ways. Therefore, I desperately want to explore new fields and new things to rekindle my imagination.
Based on this, and also hoping to broaden my investment horizons, I'm currently very interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the VC/PE industry. Ideally, I could learn through an internship as an LP or through my experience in the cryptocurrency world. I welcome any private messages from friends who are currently or have previously worked at large institutions to exchange ideas.
