Anyone can claim space on the network and create a personal Portrait (@withportrait) for free. 2/ Architecture Portrait stores page metadata on-chain and offloads images and files to decentralized networks like IPFS/@Filecoin. This architecture reduces reliance on a single host. 3/ Data Referencing Each Portrait carries a CID pointing to its stored file. The CID remains unchanged even if the hosting node disconnects, so the storage path is always verifiable across the network. 4/ Offline Scenarios If all hosts of a Portrait are offline, the PortraitStateRegistry contract will still record the CID. The file remains accessible if peers or pinned services maintain copies on decentralized storage. 5/ Key Points Portrait offers open access to everyone and relies on a distributed set of peers for persistence.
