Is there another bull market in 2025? I compared some core indicators from 2017, 2021, and 2025: 1. Bitcoin Dominance (BTC.D) dropped to 35% in 2017, reached 40% in 2021, and currently stands at 60%; 2. The Altcoin Seasonal Index exceeded 75 multiple times in 2017 and 2021 and is currently in the 40-50 range; 3. The MVRV ratio peaked at 4.5 in 2017, 3.7 in 2021, and is currently between 2.2 and 2.5; 4. The Fear & Greed Index consistently maintained a range of 85-90 in 2017, exceeded 90 twice in 2021, and is currently in the 70-75 range; 2017 and 2021 were typical retail-driven bull markets, characterized by a sharp drop in BTC.D, an explosive altcoin season, and skyrocketing search volume. 2025 will be an institutional-driven bull market, characterized by massive ETF inflows, modest MVRV (Market Value Revenue) growth, and fear and greed (but not extreme). I remember a blogger creating a chart with over 20 indicators, none of which crossed the red line. He said he'd start selling altcoins only when more than half crossed the red line. I can't find it now. I think the altcoins I own, which have fallen 5-10 times, might still be salvageable!
