I know my personality often puts me at a disadvantage, but I also understand that petty people are always bullies who prey on the weak and fear the strong! It was actually a very small matter, but this petty person, trying to impress the boss, spouted nonsense, and it turned into a very complicated situation. Before the New Year, the boss asked me to compile some data. However, during the meeting, I wasn't called upon, and this petty person directly used my data to report. When he couldn't answer some questions, he just made things up. So, based on what he said, the boss assigned me the next task: verifying a problem that wasn't actually wrong. Essentially, I've been doing useless work all day. Until yesterday, I finished a new round of verification. The data was clear; my previous work was correct. The problem was that the data provided by the supplier and our company's own data were inconsistent, leading to different results. Then, this petty person orchestrated another meeting with the boss to discuss the new verification results. Naturally, I became one of the people being scolded, the reason being that I didn't promptly identify the missing data. But actually, whether the data was right or wrong had nothing to do with me; it was a design flaw. They pinned the blame on me for not raising objections beforehand. What's even more outrageous is that this petty person twisted the truth and took things out of context. The facts were clear: the two tests yielded identical results, meaning there was no possibility of me making a mistake the first time. Yet, he went to the leader and said the current test result was fine, implying the previous one was wrong! During the meeting, this petty person gave a report to the leader that was taken out of context. I couldn't hold back and argued with him. The leader said we couldn't agree and told us to reach a consensus before the meeting ended. Hahaha. One of the main people who got scolded at this meeting was this petty person's long-term target. This person has a rather mild personality; they'll let you criticize them regardless of right or wrong, which has led to the leader having a particularly bad impression of them, and they're always the target! Speaking of which, this petty person has done a lot of dirty work and unfairly labeled me. What the leader thinks of me is no longer important; the principle is that I absolutely won't tolerate being unfairly labeled! If you encounter a petty person at work, please stand up for yourself! You must understand that work is the most meaningless thing in your life; weakness will only make you more and more passive!
