Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin responded in Chinese on X to questions regarding the security of combining AI agents with cryptocurrencies. Vitalik pointed out that ensuring security, decentralization, and privacy remains a significant challenge in adversarial environments that cannot be pre-tested. For example, attackers could implant "jailbreak" commands into ENS profiles, inducing AI agents reading that data to transfer all of the user's tokens. Vitalik believes that while requiring manual confirmation and easily understandable explanations for every large transaction is a good compromise, it is still not perfect.
