A firm hold above 86,800 would be a secondary confirmation of the trend reversal signal. This is a crucial turning point for the future direction. If it turns downwards from here, a new downward wave is clearly defined. ETH's rebound top is between 2550 and 2626. Be wary of a potential pullback after reaching this level. Tonight's Fed report will be released late, and tomorrow's non-farm payrolls data will be released. Don't chase the market above 72,000. A pullback to 71,400-70,850 or lower would be a good entry point. 69,000 has become support. The bulls' defensive base has moved up from 65,000 a couple of days ago to 69,000. This opens up 4,000 points of upside potential. If it pushes another 4,000 points to around 78,000, the defensive base will move up to 73,000. This is the short-term defensive strategy. Ignore the smaller levels of 75,750 and 76,800. When the daily chart shows a pullback to the 3- or 5-day moving average, the upward momentum is stronger than that of the 1- or 2-day moving average. Targets for long positions should only be the larger price levels.
