Ethereum, on the other hand, fell from around $5,000 to around $2,100, a drop of about $3,000 per coin, more than 100%. This shakeout has been incredibly brutal, wiping out many large investors, including some institutions and market makers. Nothing lasts forever, and nothing lasts forever either.
