Will Meme Coins Disappear?
The answer is no.
Simply put, Bitcoin is the largest Meme Coin, just mined. Bitcoin doesn't have a specific function, just like paper money; it's merely a representation of credit, backed by national credit.
Most people don't consider Bitcoin a Meme Coin, but rather Doge. Essentially, Doge and Bitcoin are not fundamentally different.
Many people believe the mining mechanisms are different—Bitcoin halving while Doge is unlimited. However, from a monetary perspective, Doge is closer to money. As the economy develops, we need more money and a moderate inflationary environment to stimulate the economy.
If the money supply remains constant while the economy grows, people will feel they don't have enough. Therefore, from this perspective, Doge is closer to money, while Bitcoin is closer to gold.
But will Doge, the ancestor of Meme Coins, disappear?
I think Doge won't disappear because in its 12 years of operation, it has become one of the top ten cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, enjoying widespread acceptance.
If Doge disappears, the entire Meme coin will likely disappear as well.
Meme coins aren't much different from other coins. Many people think it's because some institutions issued and endorsed it, but why doesn't UNI, which is supposedly powerful, appreciate in value?
After a coin is issued, institutions will issue stocks and countless other coins, turning it into a means of raising funds. Therefore, they are essentially no different from Meme.
The cryptocurrency world is an experiment, a game. So, approach it with caution and a spirit of adventure. As long as you can bear the risks, there's nothing wrong with that.
Because many people in the world get rich after taking risks, while many others lose everything. Every choice you make has sunk costs; it's a realization of your knowledge and courage.
Spurdo is all smiles when it rises and starts cursing when it falls. It doesn't matter. This is simply a realization of knowledge. When you enter a casino, you must have the courage to accept the consequences. Besides, Spurdo is a "foolish" coin; it hasn't revealed its hand yet and hasn't lost. In a depressed market, it's simply part of the consensus-building process, nothing more. #US Trade Deficit $DOGE
