Wu learned that ZKsync has announced the Atlas upgrade, transforming Ethereum into its real-time capital hub. This upgrade delivers 15,000+ TPS, 1-second ZK final confirmation, and near-zero fees, enabling real-time liquidity interoperability between L1 and L2. Atlas allows ZKsync-based chains to directly access Ethereum liquidity without needing to establish independent liquidity pools, fundamentally changing the L1/L2 capital structure and making Ethereum an institutional-grade real-time settlement center. Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin stated that ZKsync has done "underrated but extremely valuable work" within the Ethereum ecosystem.
