I realized I made a mistake. Yesterday, I posted about how the #mantle x #xhunt campaign would increase its weight on the Proof of Work (PoW) leaderboard using a cross-chain bridge. I made a crucial mistake. While the logic was sound: using a cross-chain bridge to increase the number of bridges and earn more points, I got the details wrong. To save gas, I used ARB's ETH to bridge to cheaper chains like Blast. The next day, I realized the number of bridges hadn't increased at all (and I even experienced over ten crashes). I consulted @CandyDAO_leaf and realized I was completely screwed. This is a Mantle campaign, so of course it had to bridge to the @Mantle_Official mainnet. So, I tried it overnight. The first step was to see that they had to sell some ETH as $MNT for gas. Then I remembered that withdrawing MNT from #bybit is just like withdrawing $BNB from #binance. Same deal, 0 fees, so I withdrew over a dozen MNT (actually, I didn't need that much). After I had MNT, I noticed the gas cost was much lower, only 0.86 units. However, the fee for the transfer back was 1.1 units. Next, let's see how the rankings change after I've made two transfers. Stay tuned tomorrow. Currently, PoI is ranked 23rd, and PoW is ranked 83rd. Lookup address. A blind guess: can I crack the top 50? The competition for the top two is already fierce, with over a hundred bridges already. It's a real race. For more bridge strategies, check out the official Twitter account: For more details, follow the relevant accounts: @BiteyeCN @Chaineye_tools #mantle #xhunt #biteye #chaineye_tools
