The market has been teaching me rapidly. Now, I'm giving back to society by teaching. I'm honored to join the Department of Mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology as an adjunct lecturer this semester. At the orientation session, I shared some thoughts that have shaped my life journey: In my twenties, I thought hard work was the answer. Now I understand that direction, timing, and leverage are more important. Not all lessons come from textbooks. Some lessons hit you harder when you're broke, lost, or undervalued.
