If you only look at the price, that's the case. If you look at the ecosystem, well, Solana is actually in a more awkward position.
Solana lacks the mature development environment, tools, and tutorials of EVM, nor is it as developer-friendly as Move. This is why Solana became a MEME chain. MEME doesn't require development, or even a product.
But the Solana Foundation wasn't very fond of PUMP when it launched. Ever since BONK became popular, Solana has generally been taking a meme-like approach, precisely because it's not developer-friendly. GMX announced plans to launch the Solana chain, but it hasn't launched yet, likely because it's not fully developed. This isn't GMX's fault; it's Solana's developer-unfriendly nature.
However, Solana does have an advantage: its US background gives it advantages in launching ETFs, developing stablecoins, and integrating with traditional finance.
So, this round of Solana is really awkward. 😰
