First, the RLHF (Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback) used by many new generation large models requires "small but fine high-quality data" rather than "massive labeling". In other words, you need a small number of experts in a field to help AI grow, rather than a large group of ordinary people to help AI identify data. Second, pure RL (Pure Reinforcement Learning) like Deepseek R1 does not even need "small but fine high-quality data". It only needs an initial corpus data set, and then it is completely based on the self-game of the reward function or synthetic data to continuously evolve and tune. So at the beginning of the year, I paid attention to Sahara's dynamics again, and was relieved to find that they did not only hold on to the data labeling track, but extended several business lines around the core of data.
