According to the Economic Times, CoinDCX, one of India's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that its co-founders, Sumit Gupta and Neeraj Khandelwal, have been arrested by police for allegedly creating websites impersonating CoinDCX in a scam. The company stated that the investigation stemmed from identity theft, with scammers creating approximately 1,212 fake websites impersonating CoinDCX.
