Watching nature documentaries, you'll notice an interesting phenomenon: herbivores are always grazing, seemingly perpetually hungry; carnivores sleep during the day, hunt at night, and prey on herbivores when they're hungry.
Human society is similar. The poor toil away, desperately trying to earn money, working tirelessly year-round, yet remain impoverished; the rich indulge in leisure, enjoying tea and travel, and can amass enormous wealth instantly when a favorable opportunity arises.
It's true that those who work hard don't earn money, and those who earn money don't exert themselves; the fortunate don't need to toil, while the unfortunate toil endlessly.
