Predicting the peak of the software industry is no easy feat, but each cycle yields some readily available results. Eight months ago, analysts who encouraged investors to buy $DUOL and gave it a $500 price target are now accusing me of aggressively attacking short selling and even using the government lawsuit against me to attack me, instead of seriously analyzing the data. Don't blame it on "AI disruption" or terminal value resets.
This isn't bad luck; it's lazy analysis and a complete lack of responsibility…you know who I'm talking about.
