I've been conducting several experiments lately, and you've probably noticed something:
I don't like Twitter's new algorithm, but it does reflect human nature.
- My carefully written content gets 10,000-20,000 views; a couple of sentences about silver gets 200,000+.
- My cryptocurrency analysis used to get 100,000+ views, now it's 10,000-20,000; a single sentence about BTC live trading gets 100,000+.
The key is that posts about silver consistently get 100,000+ views, and live trading posts also get around 100,000.
The algorithm assumes people prefer more general content; it assumes people want to see explicit, real-time trading.
The problem is, just like you might dislike TikTok, but that doesn't stop it from being the world's most popular entertainment platform.
I also dislike the new algorithm, but that doesn't stop it from helping Twitter expand its reach.
