This morning, we were stuck at a crossroads in our neighborhood.
My son insisted on taking the underground parking exit, while my daughter insisted on using the west gate.
And I was frustrated because the west gate was clearly the easier route, so why bother?
I suggested that since we were going to be late anyway, could we just take the shortcut?
But they wouldn't budge, arguing about whether to go left or right. So we got stuck on this.
My point was, why insist on these trivial things?
The kids probably just wanted to stick to their own "right" path.
Thinking about it, this shouldn't have been the reason I got angry, but I was just really annoyed at the time. Maybe it was that kind of stubbornness so early in the morning, or perhaps the market sentiment was influencing me too.
