We are also honored to have @sungmo_apac16z join our team as Head of Market Development for Asia Pacific, leading our Seoul office and establishing our presence in the region. This expansion will provide market development support to companies in our portfolio, helping them accelerate growth, build strategic partnerships, and cultivate lasting communities in Asia. SungMo will work closely with founders in our portfolio and his network to strengthen market connections and accelerate the adoption of cryptocurrency in Asia. @sungmo_apac16z has extensive experience and expertise in both enterprise and crypto-native ecosystems. Previously, he served as Head of Asia Pacific at Monad Foundation, where he was responsible for developing its market development and ecosystem strategy across East Asia, Greater China, Southeast Asia, and India. Prior to joining Monad, he was Head of Business Development for Asia Pacific at Polygon Labs, where he led enterprise partnerships and collaborations with emerging crypto projects. He is fluent in four languages: Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and English.
