While I've been using tools like chatgpt, Doubao, and #Sentient, I sometimes feel confused. I'd like to talk about a question I've been pondering lately. The pace of research in the current AI world is astonishingly fast, with new papers and models appearing almost daily. But strangely, the number of results that can be truly reproduced and absorbed by the public is decreasing. Most research is confined to giant labs, like a closed accelerator, accelerating faster but becoming increasingly distant from the public. So when I saw the collaboration between @SentientAGI and @askalphaxiv, I felt it was a rare countercurrent. They're not competing to see who's stronger, but rather rebuilding the speed of knowledge sharing. Only when research can be reproduced, discussed, and improved can AI truly evolve into a form of collective intelligence. Perhaps true innovation lies not in whose model is bigger, but in who can make thought flow more freely.
