Those who don't like exercise will absolutely fall in love with it after hearing this:
1. Human evolution never considered giving the lymphatic system a pump like a heart. DNA simply didn't anticipate long periods of sitting or lying down.
2. The lymphatic system flows through movement—muscle compression, shaking, and vibration.
3. A slow-flowing lymphatic system poses significant health risks (imagine you've designed a fantastic system and put a line of fine print declaring it must be active, but users have their own ideas).
4. If you absolutely refuse to exercise, you must get a massage or a scrub. The goal is to have someone else squeeze your lymphatic system. However, this is a poor option; deep lymphatic massages don't squeeze either, as they rely heavily on active exertion.
5. Every time I go to the gym now, I have the short-term goal of squeezing my lymphatic system, not the long-term goal of getting in shape. Short-term goals are easier to achieve.
