If I could bring a mini-MIR to scan the brains of those around me, I'd find that those who toil aimlessly every day, highly functional but with low aspirations, are likely to have severely suppressed default mode networks (DMNs). They live like execution machines, and they live like machines.
This "fully functional but hollow" archetype might make a perfect AI agent (maximizing task performance), but it wouldn't be a founder. Without a narrative around your identity, you can't build anything meaningful on top of yourself (which might be a legacy).
