Mars Finance reported on August 31st that according to Defillama data, the Ethereum network's monthly on-chain DEX trading volume exceeded $140.1 billion in August, setting a new monthly record. The number of active addresses reached 16.77 million, also setting a new monthly record. Ethereum's TVL (TVL) currently stands at $92.58 billion, still about 17% away from its year-end 2021 bull market peak of approximately $108.8 billion.
