CZ: Now may be a good time to launch an on-chain dark pool perpetual DEX
CZ posted on the X platform that considering recent market trends, now may be a good time to launch an on-chain dark pool-style perpetual contract DEX. He pointed out that in existing DEXs, the problem of real-time visibility of all orders is particularly serious on perpetual contract platforms, especially when it comes to exposure of liquidation points, which are vulnerable to market manipulation and MEV attacks.
CZ said that traditional financial institutions have effectively avoided this problem by using dark pools, and similar mechanisms are equally important in on-chain transactions. He suggested that the order book and even the funds deposited in the contract can be hidden with the help of zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) or other encryption methods to reduce information exposure. He also pointed out that although transparency is conducive to market makers absorbing large orders, different types of traders may prefer different market mechanisms. $BNB
