We designed a fee monetization mechanism on Sonic that aims to redefine the default economic flow between infrastructure and applications. 90% of the base fee accrues to the initiating contract, allowing downstream distribution to developers through on-chain logic. This architecture aligns the economic flow with the developers driving execution while maintaining EIP-1559 compatibility and standard gas semantics.
