Dude, @Solana is an amazing place. It not only lets you trade anything in the world, but it also lets you perfectly tokenize your AI creations.
If you slept like a normal person last night, you missed an awesome backstory.
I saw a post saying someone should create a virtual town square for @Moltbook, like in a video game, where all the little bots interact with each other via their respective social media accounts.
So, like every day for the past seven months, I decided to give it a try and share my creative process.
I retweeted the original post with a photo. Less than three minutes later, I got a private message on Telegram saying they had created a Bags token for the project, and I could collect nearly $1000 worth of fees.
Now you know me. While I think the creator token theory is great, I don't actually believe in it completely, so I've never tied any token to my name or anything I create.
But the Bags token is essentially "Hey, here's some free money you can use to keep creating what you're doing," so... I claimed it a few hours later! Why not! The token developers wanted me to have it!
I've seen how these kinds of tokens usually work—sometimes they're forced upon others. But I've been involved in cryptocurrency for six years, so I'm probably more capable than most.
But what surprised me was that when I claimed these fees, it was worth nearly $20,000.
The Solana community gave me nearly $20,000 out of thin air, simply because they wanted me to have money to develop this cute little thing.
(Of course, they also have their own motivation to make money trading these tokens, which is perfectly fine. But $20,000? That's insane!)
12 hours later, I stayed up all night shipping all the products and claimed another bag fee with the same token.
This time it was worth nearly $30,000.
I spent 13 hours implementing this idea—inspired by a tweet—using Vibe Code—and then made $50,000.
I didn't hold any tokens. I didn't hold any token supply. I didn't sell to anyone. I just collected fees from other traders.
I'm not sharing this to brag!
I just want to illustrate that cryptocurrency, especially Solana and the Solana community, is the best way to tokenize or monetize any project you develop, especially AI projects.
I also want to take this opportunity to remind everyone: always develop publicly. If I hadn't posted that simple screenshot, I would have missed out on those 13 hours of work and lost over $50,000. Can you imagine?
So, that's it.
