$memes is quite an interesting coin.
The most surreal scene on BSC yesterday was probably this:
@heyibinance posted "memes will continue," which everyone immediately interpreted as a veiled endorsement of $MEMES. Its market capitalization soared from a few million to over $27 million, with FOMO-driven retail investors rushing in, thinking they'd caught a lucky signal.
Then, a few hours later—the tweet was deleted. Emotions collapsed instantly, and $MEMES plummeted back to around $4 million. Those who were "buying like crazy" yesterday are now completely dumbfounded.
This incident illustrates at least two points:
1️⃣ Memes shouldn't be essentially an attention business, but if you treat someone's retweet as a "decree," you're not holding chips, you're holding dice.
2️⃣ BSC has relied too heavily on personal branding in the past two years. A single tweet can boost its popularity, another can be deleted, leading to a backlash against other cryptocurrencies that built their success through gradual, solid consensus. There are actually very few memes that survive solely on their own narrative, community, and product. In fact, BSC has always been a representative of "community building."
My advice is: Instead of constantly gambling on who will share or delete what, focus on creating a storyline that doesn't depend on anyone else's opinion—World Cup meme + prediction market → Clutch DEX @FIFAWorldCupDEX.
The World Cup is the traffic driver, and the DEX is the value driver.
Our community has been in preparation for two years, with a publicly verifiable $1 million fund.
Although it's a trending meme, it has a game application (mini-games + battle royale), a prediction market plan,
and a clear next step: DEX. We're taking it one step at a time.
The world of memes will always have tales of overnight riches through "retweets + deletions,"
but looking back, whether it's DOGE, SHIB, PEPE, BONK, or POPCAT… none of them truly survived solely by suddenly piggybacking on a celebrity's comment.
Behind them all lies: time, community, narrative, and continuous development.
What I'd rather see is: which path we've forged step by step ourselves,
rather than being decided by someone's swipe of a finger, a retweet, and then a deletion. ⚽💙
