Hot Topic: The US Open is the most overrated tennis tournament.
- Ashe Stadium is the worst of the four Grand Slam tournaments. Two rows of balconies elevate the second and third rows of seats. The third row is so high that ushers can't force a change. Even the last row of Wimbledon's Centre Court is slightly higher than the second row of balconies at Ashe Stadium.
- Ashe Stadium favors corporate sponsors over tennis enthusiasts. Many of the best tickets go to sponsors, so getting one requires contacting vendors or friends who work there. Real tennis enthusiasts usually go to Armstrong Stadium.
Most underrated tournament?
- Olympics: Front-row tickets for the gold medal match (the historic thriller between Djokovic and Alcaraz) cost €420, and court passes cost €24 (the outdoor courts are much less crowded than at Grand Slam tournaments).
- ATP Finals: €120 for front-row tickets to the round-robin matches, featuring the top eight players in the world.
