I seriously doubt the US is afraid of rising oil prices. Buffett buying Western oil and Trump taking over Venezuela were all part of a setup for today's situation. Now that the Strait of Hormuz is blocked, Middle Eastern oil can't be sold. The real beneficiaries are the US and Russia, as they are major oil producers and exporters. So, the US might be putting on a show for the world. If the blockade continues, it's only Asia and the Middle East that suffer. The US CPI won't rise because of the Strait issue. The reason is simple: the US has enough oil. It's Asian countries that are short. This seems to explain why the Nasdaq and Bitcoin are relatively stable. Furthermore, rising oil prices increase industrial costs in Asia, potentially benefiting the return of manufacturing to the US. But it seems Trump and the US are very concerned about oil prices. So, I don't really understand it; this is just a discussion. The above is just speculation.

More and more friends are joining the Tuen Mun community. I remember saying before that the earliest developed areas in Shenzhen were Luohu and Futian. Back then, Hong Kong's economy was booming, and Shenzhen was still a small fishing village. Now Shenzhen has developed and surpassed Hong Kong. The New Territories of Hong Kong, closest to Shenzhen, including Sheung Shui, Tuen Mun, and Yuen Long, have great potential. The cost of living and housing prices are currently only similar to Shenzhen's, so it feels like a regional arbitrage opportunity. Many friends bought in Shenzhen Bay years ago not because they were farsighted, but because Luohu and Futian were too expensive. However, Shenzhen Bay has developed since then, and now there's still a lot of vacant land in Yuen Long and Tuen Mun, which I feel will eventually become urban development reserve land.

A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. We can't catch every trend; seizing the stablecoin opportunity is enough.

Generally speaking, holding stocks is like waiting for a price increase, while holding cash and no positions is like waiting for a price decrease. Recently, the current status of CRL holders is: holding stocks but waiting for a price drop.
