The Federal Reserve's mission is to maximize employment. A mere 25 basis point rate cut will not achieve the desired effect of stimulating economic growth and reviving the job market. The market has already priced this in. They should cut rates by 50 basis points to demonstrate their seriousness in supporting the economy.

When the Federal Reserve cuts interest rates, U.S. real estate market transaction volume will begin to pick up. Powell only needs to cut interest rates significantly to revive the entire market.

Tariffs and artificial intelligence are the deflationary forces that are forcing the Fed to yield. They must cut rates today. A 50 basis point rate cut is the signal the market needs to know they mean business.

@APompliano, excellent work as always. A 50 basis point rate cut is absolutely necessary. I personally believe we need a 75 basis point rate cut, not only to stabilize the economy but also to shore up the labor market.
