In 2015, I actually invested a small amount in ETH. Looking back now, I should have been sitting back and enjoying Bitcoin by now.
But the reality is...
When it surged to seven figures for the first time in my life,
I was so excited I couldn't sleep,
I thought I was about to achieve financial freedom.
Then it plummeted back to five figures overnight.
I stared at the charts and cursed for three days.
What rubbish!
Then it went up and down and up again.
Every time it crashed, I wondered,
Is this really the end?
Every time it hit a new high, I wondered,
Am I a genius?
Several times my account balance was halved by 90% or more.
My hands trembled as I clicked on sell orders,
but I didn't.
It wasn't because I was so great,
it was because I was too lazy to do anything,
and I couldn't find my password in the safe.
Now many people say, "If only I had held on!"
To be honest,
even if I gave you the spoilers, you'd most likely have run away at the first big pit.
Because that's human nature: when greedy, you think you're the chosen one; when fearful, the whole world is against you. The cruelest thing in the crypto world isn't going to zero,
it's repeatedly oscillating between the peak and the abyss for ten years.
Can you handle that?
I don't know if I can.
Anyway, I haven't sold yet.
