On May 25, Sui's top ecological project Turbos Finance released an analysis of the Cetus attack. The platform maintained normal operations immediately after Cetus was attacked: "At 11:34 am (UTC) on May 22, 2025, Cetus announced that its protocol had a $223 million vulnerability. As an ecological protocol of the Sui mainnet, Turbos DEX is built on an independent, secure and resilient code base, unlike any other platform (including Cetus) fork code. Despite this, our team quickly launched a comprehensive internal security review. We found that the checked_shlw function related to the Cetus vulnerability exists in our code base, but has never been called or used. Searching our CLMM repository confirmed that checked_shlw only appears once in its definition and there are no instances of it being called, thus ensuring that there are no vulnerabilities in the operation of Turbos. As of 12:30 pm UTC, less than an hour after Cetus released the announcement, Turbos had entrusted Mysten to The security team, as well as several leading external security firms including OtterSec, MoveBit, and CertiK, performed independent audits of our codebase. All experts confirmed that vulnerabilities related to the Cetus vulnerability do not affect Turbos, which is a strong testament to the integrity of our platform. As of 1:00 PM UTC, several major Sui DEXs have suspended service, but due to the strict security measures taken by the platform, Turbos is able to support uninterrupted on-chain transactions on the Sui network during this challenging period."
