According to Lookonchain data, Vitalik Buterin has once again dumped a batch of free Meme tokens, exchanging them for 14,216 USDC.
This isn't the first time Vitalik has handled unsolicited token airdrops. For years, he has frequently received Meme tokens randomly sent by projects hoping to increase the visibility of their wallet addresses—and he has similarly frequently sold or donated these tokens, usually exchanging them for stablecoins.
While $14,000 may seem insignificant compared to Ethereum's vast ecosystem, this move serves as a subtle reminder of how active founders manage their wallets to avoid accidentally holding speculative tokens. For the market, it also demonstrates once again that not all Meme tokens sent to well-known addresses will ultimately be "held long-term."
