Being a @laureussport Ambassador is one of my favorite jobs and something I am super proud of. My father was the first recipient of the laureus lifetime achievement award in 2011. The award was presented to him by Nelson Mandela after giving his sports “….has the power to change the world” speech. A friend recently pointed out that I am the first Brazilian to be a Laureus ambassador (I did not know this). It is beyond an honor to represent Brazil anywhere and everywhere, all day, every day!! . One of my duties as ambassador is to go to parties with amazing people in sports (it’s a difficult job and I am very good at it 🤷🏽‍♀️). I also get to do great work creating impact through sport with some of my longtime and more recent favorite humans. @marcjspears @theresa_tran @rachellepatel_ and @d.sharpe23 .
