I just discovered a new term in the workplace: "10 AM interview."
It refers to receiving a last-minute interview from a company you just applied to, around 10 PM, when you're supposed to be sleeping. They call you in for an immediate interview, or it will be canceled.
Later, HR professionals from large companies interpreted this as a pre-emptive compliance test. A robotics company that's currently slated for an IPO, and a certain AI company, are staunch supporters of this model.
