I've been getting this feeling lately: people with truly strong aesthetic sense seem to excel at everything they do. When choosing a partner, they can tell at a glance whether someone is reliable or not. In investing, they can identify truly valuable investments instead of being swayed by trends. Even if they don't manage the funds themselves, they can always find that "other people's Buffett" worth entrusting their money to. It seems like there's an unseen magnetic field at play. They perceive the world with greater subtlety, able to sift through chaotic information and find clues and order that others completely miss. Like those teachers we've known for years, and those friends we've been chatting with in the options trading group for years—their judgments always carry an inexplicable accuracy. Sometimes it seems a bit mystical, but the results are always right.
