This was my second flight in 2026. The first was a month ago when I flew Qantas from Sydney to Los Angeles, and that experience was absolutely terrible. This time, I flew Hawaiian Airlines from Los Angeles to Hawaii. Putting everything else aside, the fact that the plane had Starlink internet was a huge plus. I was able to listen to an entire video conference the whole way. On the other hand, Qantas' 15-hour flight had neither high-speed nor low-speed internet. It was so bad in every way that it was an extremely poor experience.
