Having no prior experience, I spent tens of thousands of RMB playing several well-known titles to see why people were willing to spend hundreds of thousands on a low-quality mobile game. Similarly, when I was considering investing in a livestreaming guild, I spent 100,000 RMB gifting various streamers to experience the paying player experience and understand why people were willing to spend that money. The same applies to AI. When you first start learning, if your financial situation allows (you can spend $1,000 per month), start with a top-tier model and run it for a few months. You'll understand it very quickly and avoid many detours. Paying for it doesn't mean being a sucker or wasting money. It means finding the right path, choosing the highest quality path in the industry (which usually requires payment), and investing upfront to save time and cognitive costs. After fully understanding the industry, then you can be frugal where necessary and spend money where appropriate. In the early stages, be willing to be a paying player.
