As someone working in quantitative finance, I want to criticize these fake quantitative marketers. We (in asset management) have never raised funds from ordinary clients in the community. It's simple: 1. Our target clients are extremely large. 2. We never disclose/sell our strategies. Finally, I want to say that anyone willing to sell you quantitative strategies is most likely a scammer trying to extract your transaction fees. 🥵
