I watched *Trial by Fire* (no spoilers) over the weekend. It's a story about using AI in criminal trials, which isn't exactly new. The movie itself isn't particularly noteworthy; the subject matter is old-fashioned, but the pacing is excellent. Its AI and fake UI design gave me a lot of inspiration. While watching the movie, I kept thinking about how I would design Mercy. I just wanted to relax and watch a movie, but it unexpectedly provided a lot of inspiration.
