The senator pressed further, "Is the purpose to establish a biological reality: can men get pregnant?" The doctor replied helplessly, "I treat people with multiple identities." The senator then persisted, "Can men actually get pregnant?" Finally, the doctor confessed, suspecting this was a political issue, rather than a yes-or-no question.
