I was still scrolling through the Kaito leaderboard at 12:30 last night, my phone kept vibrating. A friend asked, "Are you playing chess again?" I almost spilled my coffee on the keyboard 😂. I checked @AnichessGame and saw they'd been making a lot of moves this week: the staking threshold was lowered to $2000 CHECK, the base prize was raised to $2500, and a separate $150,000 pool was allocated for CN creators… I was instantly jolted awake.
With Winter Clash underway, my timeline is filled with ranking/editing content.
I noted three things this week, which Siyuan thinks are all quite crucial:
① InfoFi is actually achievable: reaching 1000 likes might waive the January staking requirement.
② The community is deepening: KR/Turkey Telegram are open, clearly laying the groundwork for long-term retention.
③ The economic model is more self-consistent: royalties repurchased from Ethernals and put it into Void, locking up another $384,000 in CHECK; coupled with Chev's King's Gambit/price prediction tasks (3k-15k per task), the rewards are more geared towards "good chess skills/high output."
I'm more optimistic about this "competition + content + repurchase" closed loop. How high do you think $CHECK will climb on CMC by the end of January?
