Update/Remember someone asked me:
1) How to become the best marketer?
2) How to have the opportunity to start a business?
My answer:
1) If you're doing marketing with the premise of working for someone else, remember to go to top-tier companies and sell the best products. The premise is that these companies need you.
2) Starting a business is different. A true entrepreneur who can start anytime, from selling terrible products and managing a makeshift team, has no concept of timing. Microsoft had a saying back then: "Eat your own shit, even if it's a terrible product, you have to start." Entrepreneurs start from a state of utter despair, and things get better and better. You need to find a situation worse than what you're in now, like that teacher from Hunan who never explicitly mentioned hardship, never saw any supernatural forces, and only fought back from the brink of despair.
