#RWA DTCC Partners with Digital Asset to Tokenize US Treasury Bonds on the Canton Network @The_DTCC announced a partnership with @digitalasset and @CantonNetwork to tokenize assets held by DTC, starting with a subset of US Treasury bonds. This initiative follows DTC receiving a no-objection letter from the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), marking the first time DTCC has supported the minting of DTC-held assets on a blockchain network. A minimum viable product (MVP) is planned for launch in the first half of 2026, with plans to expand its reach based on customer demand. DTCC will also join the decentralized governance of the Canton Network, serving as co-chair of the Canton Foundation alongside Euroclear.
