These are the first U.S. military personnel killed during Trump's presidency in Syria. The fallen include: Sergeant William Nathaniel Howard, 29, from Marshall, Iowa; Sergeant Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar, 25, from Des Moines, Iowa; and Ayad Mansour Saqqat, 54, a civilian translator from Marcombe, Michigan.
