🇺🇸 Video Shows Nick Reina's Arrest Before His Parents' Murder
Newly released video shows Nick Reina calmly buying drinks at a gas station hours after allegedly stabbing his parents, Rob Reina and Michelle Singer, to death in their Brentwood home.
Nick, carrying a red backpack and wearing a hat, appears composed in the store.
Minutes later, the video shows him walking near Expo Drive when a Los Angeles Police Department patrol car speeds up.
An officer jumps out of the car—Nick raises his hands, offers no resistance, and is arrested on the spot.
The 32-year-old man currently faces two counts of first-degree murder and one special charge of using a deadly weapon.
His lawyer says Nick has not yet completed the medical examinations required for his court appearance.
Nick was a public figure who had recovered from drug addiction. In 2016, he co-authored "Being Charlie" with his father, recounting his struggle with addiction.
That book ended with his recovery from addiction; this one ends with handcuffs.
