This weekend I came in second place at the Monad Blitz competition in San Francisco with my project, x402. In just 8 hours, I built a Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) system for agents—similar to an agent's version of Affirm or Klarna (M2M e-commerce). B2B -> B2C -> M2B -> M2M This was my first time competing alone, but I didn't feel lonely. The teams from @thirdweb and @coinbase were also with us at @fdotinc. Other developers were also very helpful—a special thank you to @attractfund1ng for providing the gamma format presentation technique, which allowed me to quickly create my slides in about 15 minutes before the deadline. Thanks also to @rockyblockyabc for kindly filming all my footage. You two were amazing! And thank you to @davek_btc, whom I met a few weeks ago at the YC agent payment hackathon; he organized dinners for the two nights before and after the competition and invited everyone. @FurqanR also took the time to share his thoughts on proxy reputation. @kleffew94's presentation was equally brilliant, truly world-class (although I watched it three times in a few weeks, I still couldn't help but laugh out loud every time I saw the 404 page joke). @monad_dev provided tremendous support before and after the event. Special thanks to @mikeinweb and @spicytaco. I've fallen in love with this fast-paced hackathon sprint. Whether developing solo or in a team, it's not just about myself. It's about the friends made, the small acts of kindness, and the infectious curiosity and enthusiasm that draws developers from all over the world together for a day or two. Passion can't be taught, and it can't be learned in school. Okay, back to @cursor_ai, but I just can't let this day go by without expressing my gratitude. P.S.: I really wish I had taken better photos—I was a little distracted. Next time!
