I went to Hema to buy hot pot ingredients. I was only there for less than 30 minutes, and I ran into at least six groups of staff trying to sell me memberships… At the checkout, even after I clearly stated I didn't need one, the same person came to ask me twice… Sam's Club also has similar sales pitches, but at least they only tried to sell me credit cards at the checkout, and only once. I can only say Hema's management is incredibly abstract.
