As of November 5, 2025, the Xiangjiaba Hydropower Station, located on the lower reaches of the Jinsha River and operated by China Power Construction Corporation, had operated safely for 5,000 consecutive days, generating over 400 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity. With an installed capacity of 6.4 gigawatts, the station is a crucial power source for China's West-to-East Power Transmission Project, providing reliable green electricity to eastern China. The station continuously improves its safety and efficiency through an intelligent safety management system, unmanned inspections, and integrated land, sea, and air emergency drills.
